TREVORA G8X M2 / M4 / M4 Metal Skid Plate Under Tray (Oil Cooler Guard)

The TREVORA G8X Metal Skid Plate is a full replacement underbody protection component designed for the BMW G87 M2, G80 and G81 M3, and G82 and G83 M4 equipped with the S58 engine. Positioned beneath the front bumper, the factory oil cooler on the G8X platform sits in an exposed location that is vulnerable to contact from speed bumps, steep driveways, and road debris. The OEM plastic guard is prone to cracking and, in more severe cases, can deform inward in a way that risks direct contact with the oil cooler itself.

TREVORA's replacement guard is constructed from 5052 aluminum — a high-strength alloy offering excellent corrosion resistance and structural performance. The plate is precision stamped and CNC machined for dimensional accuracy, providing a robust protective barrier between the oil cooler and the road surface. A pre-applied anti-corrosion powder coat enhances long-term durability and resistance to road salts, moisture, and debris impact.
