The FL5 Civic Type R Water Pump is a great upgrade for the FK2 and FK8 Type R models, as this water pump is shown to flow better. In fact, this water pump flows 12% more water. Thus adding more water to your cooling system, helping reduce engine temperatures.
To add the FL5 Water Pump to your FK2 or FK8, you will also need the FL5 Auxiliary Belt found here: OHA-31110-66V-A01 and Pulley OHA- 19224-66V-A01.
